You might be successful, capable and used to dealing with things yourself, but perhaps there is a behaviour, habit or way of coping that you know isn't serving you anymore...

...and however many times you tell yourself that you will stop, cut back, change or simply get a grip on it, sooner or later you find yourself back in the same pattern.

That doesn't mean you lack discipline.

In fact, many of the people I work with are incredibly disciplined in almost every other area of their lives.

They run businesses, manage teams, support families, make important decisions and carry a huge amount of responsibility, yet there is one area of their life that increasingly feels as though it is controlling them rather than the other way around.

You don't need judgement. You need to understand what's driving the pattern — and change it.

When "I'll sort it myself" isn't working anymore

Most of my clients haven't suddenly lost their ability to make good decisions.

Quite the opposite!

They are intelligent, driven people who are used to solving problems, which is precisely why it can be so frustrating when they find themselves repeating a behaviour they consciously know they don't want.

Perhaps you have noticed that:

  • A habit that once felt occasional is becoming harder to control.
  • You increasingly rely on something to relax, escape or switch off.
  • You make rules for yourself and then break them.
  • Stress or pressure triggers behaviour you later regret.
  • Your focus, motivation or performance isn't where it used to be.
  • You're hiding part of what's happening from the people around you.
  • You feel frustrated because you know you're capable of more.
  • You keep telling yourself you'll deal with it later.

And perhaps the most frustrating part is that you know better — but knowing better hasn't been enough to make you behave differently.

There is a reason for that.

When a behaviour keeps repeating despite your conscious intention to change it, simply trying harder isn't always the answer.

Your mind learns patterns.

Something happens, you experience a feeling, pressure or trigger, your brain associates a particular behaviour with relief, reward, escape or emotional regulation, and eventually that response can become increasingly automatic.

This is why you can genuinely mean it when you say:

"I'm not doing that again."

And still find yourself repeating exactly the same behaviour.

My work isn't about judging the behaviour or telling you what you already know.

It's about understanding why your mind keeps taking you back there and changing the pattern underneath it.

Nikki Brooke Rapid Transformational Therapist

Change behaviour at the root cause

I'm Nikki Brooke, a Rapid Transformational Therapist specialising in working with high-functioning professionals, business owners and individuals who are used to coping, performing and getting on with life, even when privately something doesn't feel right.

I use hypnotherapy through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), together with subconscious pattern work, behavioural change techniques and nervous system regulation, to identify the beliefs, associations and emotional responses that may be driving the behaviour you want to change.

Rather than spending all of our time asking:

"How do I stop myself doing this?"

I want to understand:

"Why does your mind keep wanting to do it in the first place?"

Because when we understand the function of the pattern, we can begin changing it at a much deeper level.

The goal isn't to spend the rest of your life fighting yourself.

The goal is to change the pattern so that making better choices begins to feel more natural.

From coping to optimisation

Breaking an unwanted habit is only part of the work.

For many of my clients, the bigger opportunity is what happens when we remove the mental noise, internal pressure and repetitive behaviours that have been taking up so much of their energy.

Imagine being able to direct that energy back towards your business, career, health, relationships and the things that actually matter to you.

  • Imagine thinking more clearly.
  • Being more present.
  • Making better decisions.
  • Feeling calmer under pressure.
  • Having greater control over your responses.
  • Being able to switch off without needing an unhealthy coping mechanism.

And perhaps most importantly, feeling that your behaviour is aligned with the person you know you are capable of being.

That's where I see optimisation differently.

It isn't about pushing yourself harder or squeezing another 10% of productivity out of your day.

It's about removing the patterns that are quietly taking something away from you, so your mind is working with you rather than against you.

You don't have to wait until everything falls apart

One of the biggest misconceptions around getting support is that something has to be seriously wrong before you're justified in asking for help.

It doesn't.

You don't need a label.

You don't need to have reached rock bottom.

And you don't have to wait until a behaviour has damaged your career, business, health or relationships before deciding that enough is enough.

Many of the people I work with are still functioning very well.

That's exactly why they want to deal with the problem now.

They recognise that something has changed, they don't like the direction it's heading in, and they want to regain control before the consequences become more serious.

If that sounds familiar, this may be the right time to have a conversation.

Private. Confidential. Non-judgemental.

I understand that talking about something you have kept private isn't always easy, particularly when you are someone other people normally rely upon.

  • You may feel embarrassed.
  • You may be worried about being judged.
  • You may even be wondering whether your problem is "bad enough" to justify getting help.

You don't need to work any of that out before speaking to me.

My approach is straightforward, warm and completely non-judgemental.

We'll talk about what is happening, what you would like to change and what you want your life to look and feel like when this pattern is no longer controlling you.

No labels. No judgement. No pressure.

Just an honest, confidential conversation about where you are now and where you want to be.

A different approach to change

My work may be particularly suited to you if:

✓ You are successful in most areas of your life but privately struggling with one particular pattern.

✓ You have tried to change the behaviour yourself but keep returning to it.

✓ You don't identify with traditional labels or approaches.

✓ You want private, individual support.

✓ You want to understand why you behave the way you do rather than simply being told to stop.

✓ You are interested in subconscious change and hypnotherapy.

✓ You want to improve your mental clarity, emotional control and performance.

✓ You are ready to make a genuine change.

What could change look like?

The goal is not simply the absence of a bad habit.

It's getting you back.

  • More control.
  • A quieter mind.
  • Better focus.
  • Greater confidence.
  • More energy.
  • Better decisions.
  • Healthier ways of dealing with pressure.
  • Improved relationships.
  • More presence with your family.

And the feeling that you are moving forward again rather than repeatedly being pulled back into the same cycle.

Regain control of the behaviour — then optimise what becomes possible without it.

Start with a confidential consultation

You don't have to decide today whether therapy is right for you.

The first step is simply a conversation.

During your confidential consultation, we'll talk about what has been happening, the pattern you want to change, what you've already tried and what you would like to achieve.

I'll explain how I work and, if I believe I can help, I'll talk you through the most appropriate way of working together.

If we're not the right fit, I'll tell you that too.

There is no pressure and no judgement.

Just a private conversation about making a change you already know you want to make.
