Frequently Asked Questions
This page answers some of the most common questions people ask before booking a consultation.
Many of my clients are high-functioning, used to coping on their own, and not sure if they need help — so it’s completely normal to have questions.
If you don’t see your question here, you can ask on the consultation call.
Do I need to be at rock bottom to work with you?
No.
Most of my clients are still working, running businesses, and managing their life.
They come to me because they feel stuck in anxiety, pressure, or habits that are starting to affect their life, even though things still look fine on the outside. Often I’m told ‘If I don’t change, I’m going to lose everything.’
You don’t need to wait until things get worse to change them.
Do you work with other issues
Yes.
As RTT works at the root cause of the problem, it can address most emotional and even physical issues. I have assisted people with stress, confidence, health issues, phobias, sleep to name just a few. Please contact me for more information
What is high-functioning anxiety?
High-functioning anxiety means you are coping on the outside but feel under pressure internally.
You may:
Overthink constantly
Struggle to switch off
Feel tense even when things are fine
Push yourself too hard
Use alcohol or other habits to relax
Feel exhausted but keep going
Because you are still functioning, people may not realise how much pressure you feel.
What happens on the consultation call?
The consultation is a confidential one-to-one call.
We talk about:
What is currently happening
What you feel stuck in
How long the pattern has been there
What you want achieve by then end of the programme
How you would feel without the issue – who would you be?
I will then explain how I work and whether I believe I can help.
If it feels like the right fit, I will explain the options for working together.
There is no pressure to book anything.
I only work with clients who are committed to their transformation.
What is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?
RTT is a form of therapy that works with the subconscious mind.
Many patterns such as anxiety, addiction, and stress responses are driven by beliefs and reactions stored below conscious awareness.
RTT uses Hypnotherapy, Congnitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Psychotherapy and Neuroscience. It combines these techniques to be able helps identify where the pattern started and change the response at the root.
This can allow change to happen more quickly than approaches that only focus on talking.
Is this hypnosis?
RTT uses a relaxed, focused state similar to hypnosis. This is nothing like stage hypnosis, you are fully aware and remain in control at all times during the session.
Most people describe it as feeling very calm and focused.
You cannot be made to do anything you don’t want to do.
The purpose is simply to access the subconscious mind so the pattern can change.
Is it safe?
RTT is safe. It is not recommended for people with psychotic or severe personality disorders as it may exacerbate the symptoms.
During the consultation, this will be discussed and there may be a request for your doctor to give permission before therapy
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on the pattern.
Some clients work with me for a single RTT session which is within the 28 day programme.
Others choose the Pressure Loop Reset Programme when the pattern is deeper or has been there for a long time.
We will discuss this on the consultation call.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes.
Sessions are held online or in person at my clinic in Cardiff, Wales.
I work with clients across the UK and internationally.
Online sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions.
Is this confidential?
Yes.
Everything discussed is completely confidential.
Many of my clients are professionals, business owners, or people in high-responsibility roles, and privacy is very important.
You can speak openly without judgement.
What if I’m not sure this is right for me?
That’s exactly what the consultation is for.
You don’t need to decide anything before the call.
We talk through what is going on, and I will tell you honestly whether I think this approach can help.
